Need a little Organization in your life?
Want an early start on that spring cleaning? Why wait? Not sure where to begin?
Call Teri Keene with Keene Spaces! Growing up sharing a room with three sisters, Teri has been organized since her childhood! But more than her desire to organize things was to help others get out of the mess that they had gotten themselves into.
Teri has been professionally organizing in the Quincy Area for about two years now, and she LOVES it! Why? Because she is not just helping people clean, she is teaching them a new way a new organizational style that is custom fit to THEIR lifestyle.
Not quite sure what to do with the Attic? The Garage? The Closets? Your Office or Small Business? Let Teri Help you!
I know you don’t have time to get organized. You also don’t have time to mow your lawn, cook dinner every night, or change the oil in your car. Most people pay for these things at least some of the time. Hiring an organizer is no different from hiring any other service to help you when you’re stressed out and strapped for cash.
So I ask you again. What’s stopping you? Here are a few more excuses from people about not getting organized. I already know how to get organized, but...
Professional Organizers cost WAAAY too much money.
Hang on now! How do you know? Have you ever called one? We don’t all come with interior designers and a camera crew, like on those cable TV shows. When you talk to an organizer, let her know up front what sort of budget you have. Whether you work together for only a few hours, or your project is a long term one, the organizer will work as hard as she can in that time to help you accomplish your goals.
I’m embarrassed to let anyone see my mess.
She does this for a living! There’s little you can show her that she hasn’t already seen. Besides, if you ask organizers why they got into this business, They’ll all tell you how much they LOVE to help people! So go ahead and tell them the stories behind your stacks. Let them know about the recent upheaval in your life. You’ll receive the compassion, encouragement, and perspective needed to stay motivated and get the job done, and if you hire a member of the National Association of Professional Organizers, we are bound to keep client information completely confidential. They won’t tell anyone what they saw. J
Why bother? It won’t last.
Part of an organizer’s job is to teach her clients the skills to maintain the organizing systems put in place. If you’re one that has a hard time staying organized, talk to your organizer about what’s not working for you. She should help you find your organizing style and learning style, and then find a solution that works best for your situation. If you’re one that has never been able to stay organized (chronically disorganized), a good relationship with an organizer might be just what you need! Many organizers follow up with their chronically disorganized clients on a regular basis just to help keep them on track.
Working with Teri will not only get you organized, but you will have a BLAST doing it!. When interviewing her about her business, she called exactly on schedule, and we had so much fun talking, she was so nice and friendly the half an hour we spent on the phone seemed like just a few minutes!
Teri’s favorite part of her job is helping others! She is not only helping her clients, Teri is also big on helping out the community! Many of her clients want to give back, but they just don’t know where to begin, what to keep, what to throw away, what to donate or who to donate it too. Teri helps her clients make these important decisions and is also a huge advocate for giving back! She will make sure that the items you choose to donate will get to thrift stores and organizations to not only get your space cleaned and organized, but also give back to the community. And remember charitable donations can be written off your taxes for a bigger refund on April 15th J.
You’ve got clutter. You can’t function as well as you’d like in your own home. Every day you waste time, effort, and emotional energy trying to keep it all behind closed doors. Whatever your mess, whatever your situation, a professional organizer can help steer you in the right direction.
